New Leadership. Delivering Results for Our Community.

I am a community affairs professional with more than a decade of experience engaging residents in the City of Atlanta. I am passionate about service, about people, and about bringing solutions to my district.

My whole life has been about service. As a youth, I advocated for expanded access to higher education and for the use of community based policing strategies. When the pandemic started, I was working to ensure that everyone was counted during the 2020 census process, working to ensure our community got our fair share of resources and funding. Even volunteering with a team, on-the-ground in the community, seeking out the unsheltered population to ensure they were counted and their voices were heard. When the pandemic was running rampant, I joined the Mayor's vaccine hesitancy program, where we engaged families from all across our city to provide information and resources to those who needed it most.

In recent years, I have been a neighborhood president, an officer on Atlanta's Planning Advisory Board, and a board member of two community development corporations:

The Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership and The University Community Development Corporation, both of which have created and maintained affordable housing options for residents throughout metro Atlanta. Now, I am running for State Representative to continue serving the community I call home.
